Ironic

It's ironic when you tend to meet strangers at two diff places on two consecutive days. Keeps me wondering why. Why when the person we knew, that we long to meet, doesn't coincidently appear? At places, we knew that person'd normally go. Are we too smart to assume or are we too dumb to realize that the person might have moved on and have explored a new hang out place?
This girl with DSLR, idk her name, was the person I saw at Starbucks yesterday. Why do I remember her? I don't. Can't recognize her properly till I saw the chubby four eyed guy she was with. And this morning I saw her again. *grins*
This morning, surprisingly, I manage to wake up at 7am to tapao dimsum. For my granny. From Ming Court. Why not Fu Shan? I don't fancy the dimsum there. Prolly the place is too commercialized. Yes, the place was awesome, but they don't provide really good service. Most importantly, the dimsum tasted...ordinary. Nothing extraordinary. Ming Court's dim sum me likey. Because the size is small therefore I can fill my stomach with more options. =)
Btw, I heard Crystal performing Alanis's Ironic. It was awesome, effin love that song, the album.
Chiao, off to get some nap before headin out to Kinta City later.

Yummylicious

Venue : Sushi Zanmai , The Gardens

went two trips last week. Love jap food mad. Tho I don't take raw stuff. And this isn't the best but near to mah house. Not a good idea to come during after office hours. Long que especially weekends. Imagine you're so so uber hungry and you need to wait. Yeah I'm impatient :P

appertizer. Chuka hotate and seaweed. Superb I had to say. The seaweeds fresh and it taste a lil spicy. I remembered the first time I tried seaweed sushi my mum made I nearly gagged. But now am lovin it madly. Thanks to ngjeanyenn.

front row - soft shell crab roll with avocado. Nice but not my choice. I don't really fancy sushi rolls.
back row - sashimi roll. I don't take raw stuff. So yeah.

Main dish - cha soba. Best eaten with dashi and chopped leek. Woohoo. They don't serve quaill egg tho. Yummy yummmmm!!

Kimchi hotpot. Which comes with something I hate - oyster. When I requested that the oyster not to be served the waiter was kind enough to offer to change to other type of seafood. Neat.

Korean Food Galore

Venue : Seoul Garden, Kuchai Lama

I ordered the Kimchi Hot Pot with stew pork and loadsa vege. Yum yum. Loadsa loadsa chopped garlic and spices and kimchi in there. It cost RM50 and I think this can accomodate up to 3 pax.

They also offer a generous number of side dishes. Banchan I suppose that's the name for it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Other restaurant offers only between 3-6 dishes. This place offered the most as far as I noticed. And you can ask for refill unlimited times. The variety if dishes changes from time to time but kimchi would be one of the staple one. One that cannot be missed! Woohoo.
The lady boss is very friendly, helpful and well mannered. Sometimes I noticed her husband is around to help too. I've tried the BBQ set. It was superb. Tho it was a set for two but you may ask extra companion along as you'd be uber full by the time u finished. The staffs are very well mannered too.

Kimchi yumy yum yum.

Me love retro

Maybe...

“ Maybe I wasn’t asking you to love me, maybe I was asking you to understand, because for so long I’ve been hurt and for so long you’ve ignored it, and maybe it is bad timing, but maybe, I don’t care. I’ve been here all along just waiting, waiting for you to notice, waiting for you to care. Waiting for you to say that you’ve been waiting too and you haven’t and maybe you never will or maybe you’re afraid to. But it all hurts the same, and in the end, I’m the one that’s left broken and when I lay down to sleep, I’m still the one crying, so screw the bad timing. I’ve loved you then, like I love you now, like I probably always will ”

Fruit for thought

"It’s sad when people you know become people you knew; when you can walk right past someone like they were never a big part of your life, how you used to be able to talk for hours and how now you can barely even look at them. It’s sad how times can change."

Breakfast in Penang

Venue : Kedai Kopi Goh Chew (Lorong Baru, next to Wisma Central)

Advisable to come as early as possible. The last time my cousin came around 10am, habis jual.

Looks ordinary to me. Not much different from the normal "keng jai fun"

Fried fish fillets <3 sweet and not much bones. Suits mah laziness max.

Accompanied by special satay sauce like. You may consume without this sauce, the fillet taste as nice *grins* All these cost a whooping of 40 ringgit for 5 pax.

Worth a try.

Can't help to share this pic. Amazeballs that a mixbreed of chempedak and nangka can grow this much.

The heavy bottom :P

Moar updates later.
